Hazem Yahia, P.Eng, MSc., PMP, CCP


  • Hazem has over 20 years of experience in the construction management field, with a background in civil engineering.
  • He has worked in residential, commercial, infrastructure, and nuclear projects.
  • He has been a P.Eng since 2019 and is registered as a guide with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • He has served as a guest speaker for numerous newcomer agencies including ACCES Employment, ACCT, IWC, PCPI, Polycultural, and Collège Boréal.
  • Hazem has presented at George Brown College and Humber College on the P.Eng journey (see this link for one of the events).
  • He has assisted over 300 engineers in their P.Eng journeys.
  • Hazem earned a master's degree in construction management in 2011.
  • He has been a PMP since 2008 and became a Certified Cost Professional in 2015.
  • He has worked at Parsons, EllisDon, and served as a project manager at Bruce Power.
  • Hazem founded Master VDC in 2020, a company that holds a Certificate of Authorization from PEO.
  • His company, Master VDC, provides consultancy services in design, project management, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • He has provided technical exam preparation courses for more than 5 years across various engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical).
  • Hazem established an official Facebook page for P.Eng preparation courses (please visit here).
  • He serves as Vice President, Technical Director, and Committees Chair on the SPAN-EA board, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering international professionals in Canada.
